1. What we collect

Account details (name, email, school) when you sign up; a record of which posters you have unlocked and when; and lead details (name, email, school, role, country) if you submit them to download a resource. We do not knowingly collect information from students.

2. Logos and images stay on your device

Logos, photos and the school name and address you type into the poster editor are stored in your browser's local storage so your settings survive a refresh. They are not uploaded to our servers and are rendered into the PDF locally on your computer.

3. Payments

Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a payment reference and status so we can unlock your poster — never your card number, CVC or full card details.

4. How we use your data

To give you access to posters you have unlocked, to provide support, and — if you opted in by submitting a lead form — to send occasional information about vape detection for schools. You can unsubscribe at any time.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the providers who run this service: our hosting and database provider, our email provider, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep account and purchase records while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing info@thevapedetector.com. Deleting your account also removes your unlock history.

7. Cookies

We use only essential storage: a sign-in session and your saved poster settings. No advertising trackers are used on this site.
